We have this book on California that has pages torn and falling out. But since it is filled with all these great images of California, we decided that instead of tossing it out we should keep it for some “reuse DIY” projects. Here is one of those “reuse DIY” projects: a super easy way to create your own gift tags!
You can either cut out your own tag using thick construction paper like we did here or you can buy pre-made tags from a craft store. Cut out an image and glue to it one side of your tag. Let the glue dry completely. Trim down the image to fit the tag. Using a hole puncher, punch a hole on the top side of the tag. Use some decorative string to attach the tag to the gift. Leave a sweet note or an inspirational travel quote on the opposite, plain side of the gift tag.
